Winter Action

 Fall in The Canadian Rockies

Fall is undoubtedly the prettiest time of year here in the Canadian Rockies. It is the most fleeting of seasons, lasting anywhere from two days to three weeks, and I think that there in lies the charm.

Fall comes to the mountain tops first, with the snow returning after a brief absence. Then the first of the Larch trees start to turn, giving small pockets of the sub-alpine golden highlights. Finally fall arrives in the valley bottom, as the trembling aspens turn yellow and orange then promptly drop their leaves for the coming winter.

I hope you enjoy this collection of golden images from the past few years. As always, these photos are available as limited edition fine art prints.
